Project Description:

Restroom facilities for Frost Amphitheater at Stanford University were designed to fit within the oak-studded hillside environment at this outdoor assembly venue.  A particular challenge for this project was the need to provide disabled access to the restrooms, given the hilly terrain.

The restroom building was carefully crafted of natural wood siding.  Obscure glazing was introduced in clearstory windows to allow for natural lighting of the spaces.  All fixtures and fittings are vandal resistant and the restrooms are designed for hard-use and long life.
